DTC Description

C1696-00 is set when CAN Communication is normal, but SPAS (SMART PARKING ASSIST CONTROL MODULE") cannot transmit C_CAN message to "GATEWAY" for 10 sec.

If the DTC still appears even if the problem is corrected and the system operates normally, perform "Erase Network Configuration" procedure in the "Vehicle S/W Management"  with GDS and erase the DTC.
