GDS Data Analysis
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn "On" the ignition switch.
- Press the ESP OFF switch.
- Monitor the "ESP (ESC) OFF Switch" parameter on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS.
- Does the parameter read correctly?
YES
- Fault can be intermittent, caused by poor connection in ESP OFF switch line. Or, ESP (ESC) memory was not cleared after it was repaired. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

- Go to next step.
