Component Inspection: Notes

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "ON".
  3. Perform "Shift Control Solenoid Valve C (35R/C)" in "Actuation Test" with GDS.
  4. Perform "Shift Control Solenoid Valve D (4 & OD/C)" in "Actuation Test" with GDS.

  5. Are measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Fault might be intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECU's connector or was repaired and ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If problem still occurs, replace transmission (valve body) and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • Replace "Transmission" and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure. (Perform "Oil-pressure Characteristics Input (A/T Replacement)" in "Vehicle S/W Management" with GDS.)
