Check For An Open Circuit

Ignition switch is turned "OFF". Disconnect the alternator and ECM connector.
Measure the resistance from the both of alternator signal terminal in the harness connector.
Specification: Approx. 0Ω
Is resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "Check for short circuit" procedure.
NO
- Repair the connector. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
