Check For An Open Circuit

1. Turn off the ignition switch.
2. Disconnect the alternator and ECM (PCM) connector.
3. Measure the resistance from the both of alternator signal terminal in the harness connector.

   Specification  : Approximately 0 Ω

4. Is resistance within specification?

YES 

• Go to "Check for short circuit" procedure.

NO 

• Repair the connector. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
