[Gasoline 3.3]
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Remove the front propeller shaft.
(Refer to Drive Shaft and Axle - "PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the Rear Propeller Shaft.
(Refer to Drive Shaft and Axle - "PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the LH side stay (A) and RH side stay (B).
- Remove the fastener (A) and Mounting Bolt (B) of the Parking Release Cable.
Tightening Torque:
12.7 - 15.7 N.m (1.3 - 1.6 kgf.m, 9.4 - 11.6 lb-ft)
- Remove the wiring (B) fixed on the transfer case after disassembling the transfer case (AWD) ECU connector (A).
- Remove the cross member (A) after supporting the transmission oil pan by the transmission jack.
Tightening Torque:
49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 lb.ft)
- Unfasten the mounting bolt and remove the transfer case (AWD) (A).
Tightening Torque:
29.4 - 41.2 N.m (3.0 - 4.2 kgf.m, 21.7 - 30.4 lb.ft)
