[Without ECS]

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from the front hub.

    Tightening Torque: 

    107.9 - 127.5 N.m (11.0 - 13.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 94.0 lb-ft)

    NOTE:
    • Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the front wheel and tire.
  3. Remove the wheel speed sensor connector (A). [2WD]

  4. Remove the wheel speed sensor bracket bolt from the knuckle. [2WD]

    Tightening torque: 

    6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft)

  5. Remove the wheel speed sensor and cable bracket from the knuckle. [AWD]

    Tightening torque: 

    6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft)

  6. Remove the front wheel guard.

    (Refer to Body - "FRONT WHEEL GUARD ")

  7. Remove the cable bracket by loosening the mounting bolts (A) & (B).

    Tightening torque: 

    6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft)

    (B): 8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb-ft)

  8. Remove the clip and then separate the connector (A).

  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
