Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
NOTE:
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.

    (Refer to Rear Seat - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")

  2. Press the lock pin and remove the rear console headrest (A) by pulling upward.

  3. Press the lock pin and remove the headrest guide (A) by pulling upward.

  4. Loosen the mounting screws and nuts, remove the rear console frame (A).

  5. Disconnect the rear console wiring harness (A) from the rear console.

  6. Loosen the mounting screw and remove the floor outer shield cover (A).

  7. Loosen the mounting bolt, detach the rear console armrest.

  8. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the rear console armrest assembly (A).

  9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
    • Replace any damage clips.
