DTC B1602-00: CAN Line Error: General Description

PTL* is automatic system that activates motor & rod that connected to motor gears by activating PTL switch/remote controller/Smart key to control trunk lid position and activates electronic actuator to lock or unlock the trunk lid latch.

PTM* communicates with units/modules to transmit/receive vehicle status via CAN communication to determine trunk lid status and perform self diagnosis function.
