- IG Key "ON".
- Connect the GDS in the vehicle.
- To read the transfer case data in old ITA (ECU), select "ECU Data Back-up & Writing" service of GDS.
- IG key "OFF".
- Remove the under cover.
(Refer to Engine mechanical system - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Disconnect ITA (ECU) connector (A).
- Release 2 screws (A).
- Remove the 4WD ITA (ECU) (B).
