DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring system
  1. Poor Connection/Circuit fault
  2. Faulty E-Shifer
  3. Faulty TCM
Enable Conditions
  • Time after TCM turns on is longer than 0.5 sec
  • Battery voltage is above 10V
Threshold Value
  • If SBW system error is detected
Detecting Time
  • Immediately
MIL ON Condition
  • 1 driving cycle
Fail Safe
  • Display error signal value of SCU as it is
    • 0 Bit ON: DTC display
    • 1 Bit ON: MIL ON
    • 0/1 simultaneous ON: DTC display and MIL ON
  • As a result of diagnosis in SCU, TCM has no separate filtering time
