Repair Procedures: Replacement
NOTE:
- Wear gloves to protect hands from injury.
- Take care not to scratch the body surface.
- Remove the liftgate lower trim.
(Refer to Liftgate - "LIFTGATE TRIM ")
- Press the lock pin and separate the rear combination lamp connector (A).
- Press the lock pin and separate the rear view camera connector (A).
- Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the liftgate back panel (A).
- To install, reverse removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the liftgate locks and opens properly and locks securely.
- Replace any damaged clips.
