Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
  • Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Loosen the mounting bolts and then remove the upper console assembly (A).

  2. Using a flat-tip screwdriver or remover and remove the console upper cover (A).

  3. Press the lock pin and separate the connectors (A).

  4. Loosen the mounting screws and then remove the DVRS unit (A).

  7. Using a remover and remove the console side cover (A).

  8. Remove the service hole (A).

  9. Loosen the mounting bolts and then remove the front console assembly (A).

  10. To install, reverse removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector is connected properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
