Removal And Installation

  1. Disconnect the auxiliary 12V battery (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the power electric side cover [RH] (A).

  3. Disconnect the continuously variable damping control connector (A).

  4. Remove the junction block cable (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    4.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.5 - 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.8 lb-ft)

  5. Remove the junction block (A) after removing the nuts.

    Tightening torque: 

    4.9 - 7.8 N.m (0.5 - 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.8 lb-ft)

  6. Disconnect the vehicle control unit (VCU) connector (A).

  7. Remove the vehicle control unit (VCU) (A) after removing nuts.

    Tightening Torque: 

    7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)

  8. Remove the vehicle control unit (VCU) from the bracket by removing the bolts (A).

    Tightening Torque: 

    7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)

  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
