Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the inside rear view mirror cover (A).

  3. Remove the rain sensor cover (A).

  4. Press the lock pin and disconnect the auto defogging sensor connector (A).

  5. Remove the auto defogging sensor (A).

  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    CAUTION:
    • Carefully remove and refit the windshield glass.
