Repair Procedures: Reassembly

- Install the insulator, strut bearing, coil spring and upper pad at the shock absorber.
- Using the spring compressor, compress the coil spring (A).
Do not compress the spring more than necessary.

NOTE:
- When assembling the coil spring, install it so that the gap between the upper/lower ends (A) and the pad stoppers (B) is within 3 mm.

- Using the SST, install the self locking nut.
NOTE:
- Do not reuse the self locking nut.
- Using the SST (0K546-F6100), install the self locking nut.[ECS type]
Tightening torque:
107.8 - 117.7 N.m (11.0 - 12.0 kgf.m, 79.6 - 86.8 lb-ft)

- Using the SST (09546-3X100), install the self locking nut.[None ECS type]
Tightening torque:
53.9 - 58.8 N.m (5.5 - 6.0 kgf.m, 39.8 - 43.4 lb-ft)
