Liftgate Back Panel: Replacement
NOTE:
- Wear gloves to protect hands from injury.
- Take care not to scratch the body surface.
- Remove the liftgate lower trim.
(Refer to Liftgate - "LIFTGATE TRIM ")
- Disconnect the anti-pinch strip connector (A).
- Remove the anti-pinch strip (A).
Information
- Disconnect the rear combination lamp connector (A).

- Loosen the mounting nuts, remove the liftgate back panel (A).
Tighten torque:
2.5 - 3.9 N.m (0.27 - 0.4 kgf.m, 1.9 - 2.9 lb.ft)
Information
- To install, reverse removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the liftgate locks and opens properly and locks securely.
- Replace any damaged clips.
- Make sure the connectors are connected in properly.
