Repair Procedures: Disassembly

  1. Disconnect the M-terminal (A) on the magnet switch assembly.

  2. After loosening the screws (A), detach the magnet switch assembly (B).

  3. Loosen the through bolts (A) and then remove the rear cap (B), stop washer (C), adjust washer (D).

  4. Disconnect the rear bracket (A), brush holder (B), adjust washer (C), yoke (D), amature (E).

  5. Remove the gasket sheet (A).

  6. Disconnect the lever rest (A).

  7. Remove the reducer assembly (A) and lever (B).

  8. Press the stopper (A) using a socket (B).

  9. Disconnect the stopper (A), overrunning clutch (B), stopper (C), stop washer (D), ring gear (E), drive shaft assembly (F), gasket seat (G).

    NOTE:
    • Using a suitable pulling tool (A), pull the overrunning clutch stopper (C) over the stop ring (B).
  10. Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.
