Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the bumper cover and panels.
  1. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal
  2. Remove the front bumper upper mounting clips.

  3. Remove the front bumper upper mounting bolts.

  4. Remove the front bumper lower mounting clips.

    NOTE:
    • Be careful not to damage the tabs on the side part of front bumper (A).
  5. After removing the pin-type retainers and screws on the side of front bumper (A), detach the side part of front bumper.

  6. Disconnect the front bumper main connector (A).

  7. Remove the front bumper assembly (A).

  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
