Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (ECTS): Inspection

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Remove the ECTS.
(Refer to "REMOVAL ")
After immersing the thermistor of the sensor into engine coolant, measure resistance between the ECTS signal terminals and ground terminals.
Check that the resistance is within the specification.
Tightening torque: Refer to "SPECIFICATIONS "
