Trouble Shooting

Before diagnosing cruise control system, ensure all electrical wiring and harness connections are secure. Inspect mode switch, disengagement switches, speed sensor and servo cable for obvious damage. Repair or replace components as necessary. If Circuit Analyzer (J 36128) is being used to diagnose system, follow instructions with analyzer. If analyzer is not available, proceed to DIAGNOSING BY SYMPTOM in this article.
