Removal & Installation
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Loosen alternator mounting bolts and adjuster bolt. Remove alternator belt. Disconnect alternator harness connectors. Remove alternator mounting bolts and adjuster bolt. Remove alternator.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Adjust alternator belt. See BELT TENSION under ADJUSTMENTS in this article. Tighten alternator mounting bolts and adjuster bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS in this article.
