Code 14, Ignition Signal Circuit No Signal (VIN 6): Notes

The ECM receives a 12-volt signal from the ignitor on ECM terminal IGF. If this signal is not present 4 times during cranking, Code 14 will set. The ECM uses this signal to pulse the fuel injector.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.

This verifies B+ signal from the ECM.
This checks for a short to ground in the Black wire.
