Fuel Gauge
NOTE:
Before testing, ensure all fuses and grounds are good. Unless gauge is known to be defective, check sending unit and wiring circuit first.
Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER . Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between terminals No. 2 and 3. See Fig 1 . Resistance should be about 103 ohms. Measure resistance between terminals No. 1 and 2. Resistance should be about 65 ohms. If resistance readings are not as specified, replace fuel gauge.
