Throttle Position Sensor (PRIZM GSI)

Disconnect TPS electrical connection. Install proper thickness feeler gauge between stop screw and lever. Using ohmmeter, check continuity or resistance between designated terminals. Adjust or replace TPS if not within specification. See THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) RESISTANCE .

Between Terminals E2 & IDL ⁽²⁾⁽³⁾

No Continuity

⁽¹⁾	With .014" (.35 mm) feeler gauge installed between stop screw and lever.

⁽²⁾	Terminal E2 is the top terminal (Brown wire) terminal. IDL terminal is second terminal (Blue wire) from the top of TPS.

⁽³⁾	With .023" (.58 mm) feeler gauge installed between stop screw and lever.
