Installation (Front Door)
NOTE:
Do not apply lubricant to window regulator spring.
- Apply Lubriplate Spray (GM #1052349), Spray-a-Squeak Silicone Lubricant (GM #1052276) or equivalent to window regulator, sliding surfaces and door lock mechanisms. See Fig 1 .
- Connect regulator to door.
- Install two equalizer bracket mounting bolts.
- Install regulator. Secure with four mounting bolts.
- Connect power window electrical connector.
- Install door glass into door. Secure glass with two glass channel mounting bolts.
- Loosen equalizer arm bracket bolts, and adjust equalizer arm bracket up and down until the front and back of the glass top are equal distances from the vehicle roof.
- Raise and lower the window several times to ensure proper operation. Adjust as necessary.
- Install front door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM .
- Connect negative battery cable.
