Code 51, ECM Failure, ECM Failed Or Prom Failure

NOTE: The EEPROM must be programmed before vehicle can operate. Programming of EEPROM requires GM Tech 1/CAMS equipment and latest software version.

Ensure all ECM connections are good. If connections are okay, clear memory and recheck ECM. If Code 51 reappears, replace ECM and reprogram.
