Test No. 6
- Disconnect door lock control module connector. Lock both front doors. Turn ignition on. If indicator does not turn off, go to next step. If indicator turns off, check for short to ground in Green/White wire between instrument cluster and lock control module. If okay, repair or replace instrument cluster printed circuit.
- Reconnect lock control module. Disconnect right door lock assembly connector. If indicator stays on, go to next step. If indicator shuts off, replace right door lock assembly.
- Disconnect left door lock assembly. If indicator stays on, go to next step. If indicator shuts off, replace left door lock assembly.
- Check for short to ground in Green/Black wire between lock control module and right and left door lock assemblies. If wiring is okay, replace door lock control module.
