Clutch Assembly: Installation
- Position clutch disc and pressure plate on flywheel using Clutch Centering Tool (J-34860 ). Clutch disc is installed with damper springs facing toward transaxle.
- Install pressure plate bolts, and tighten evenly to avoid clutch distortion. Lightly lubricate release bearing sliding surfaces and input shaft with grease.
- To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS at the end of this article. Fill transaxle with 75W GL-5 Fluid (12345349 ).
