Removal & Installation (Tracker)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect stoplight switch harness connector. Remove stoplight switch adjustment nut. Unscrew stoplight switch from brake pedal bracket.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. To adjust, pull brake pedal up toward steering wheel and hold. Adjust clearance between end of threaded portion of stoplight switch and brake pedal return cushion to .060-.080" (1.5-2.0 mm). Tighten stoplight switch lock nut.
