Pressure Bleeding

Using Tech 1, re-home ABS motors. See BLEEDING PRECAUTIONS . Clean master cylinder cap and surrounding area, and remove cap. Add clean brake fluid, if needed. Connect pressure tank to master cylinder following manufacturers instructions.
Bleed hydraulic modulator. Attach clear vinyl hose to rear bleed screw on hydraulic modulator. Place other end of hose in clean, transparent container. Partially fill container with clean brake fluid until end of hose is submerged in fluid.
Open bleed screw 1/2-3/4 turn. When fluid flowing into container is clear and bubble free, close bleed screw securely. Repeat procedure to bleed hydraulic modulator front bleed screw. When fluid flows from both hydraulic modulator bleed screws without air bubbles, bleed wheels.
Attach vinyl hose to first bleed screw to be serviced. See BRAKE LINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE table. Place other end of hose in clean, transparent container. Partially fill container with clean brake fluid until end of hose is submerged in fluid.
Open bleed screw, noting fluid flow. When fluid flowing into container is clear and bubble free, close bleed screw securely. Finish bleeding system, in the same manner, using appropriate sequence. Close release valve, and remove pressure tank from master cylinder. Check master cylinder reservoir fluid level.
Turn ignition on. Depress brake pedal with moderate force and hold in position. Note pedal travel and feel. If pedal travel feels firm and constant, go to next step. If pedal feels soft or has excessive travel either initially or after starting engine, go to step 8).
Start engine. Recheck pedal travel. If pedal is still firm and constant and travel is not excessive, road test vehicle. Make several normal (non-ABS) stops from moderate speed to ensure proper brake function.
Using Tech 1, release then apply motors 3 times and cycle solenoids 10 times. Apply motors to ensure pistons are in the home position. Repeat bleeding procedure.
