Steering Wheel: Removal
- Ensure front wheels face straight-ahead. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disable air bag system and remove driver-side air bag module. See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG INFLATOR MODULE. Remove steering wheel retaining nut.
- Mark steering wheel and shaft for reassembly reference. Using steering wheel puller, remove steering wheel. See Figure.
