Hydraulic System Bleeding
- Start engine and turn wheels all the way left. Turn engine off. Add power steering fluid to reservoir until it reaches COLD mark fluid level indicator. Leave cap off reservoir.
- Start engine and run at fast idle for approximately 15 seconds. Stop engine and check fluid level. If necessary, add fluid to bring level to COLD mark again.
- Start engine and bleed system by turning wheels from side to side 3-4 times. Stop engine and check fluid color and level in reservoir. Fluid with a light Tan color indicates air is in system. Repeat steps until fluid is purged of air and fluid is Red in appearance.
