A dry single-plate clutch mounted at transmission and driven by a chain from the engine is used to couple power from engine to transmission. A diaphragm spring is used to engage pressure plate. Clutch has a mechanical release system consisting of clutch pedal, cable, clutch release lever and throw-out bearing.
