Electrical Testing
- With ignition switch on, use a voltmeter to check for voltage at Black/Yellow wire terminal of fuel pump cut-off relay connector. The fuel pump relay is located on the fuse panel. If no voltage, check fuse and continuity of Black/Yellow wire.
- If voltage is available, check Blue wire at cut-off relay for battery voltage. If Blue wire does not show battery voltage, check it for continuity between connector and negative side of coil.
- Turn ignition switch off and disconnect relay connector. Attach jumper wire between the 2 Black/Yellow wires of connector and turn ignition switch on.
- If fuel pressure is now available, replace the cut-off relay. If no pressure is available, proceed to fuel pump operational testing.
