Ignition System - TOYO DENSO Electronic: Overhaul: Reassembly

Install centrifugal advance weights and springs. Install thrust plate and ball bearing on shaft. Grease shaft and install in housing. Put washer and gear on lower end of shaft. Line up holes in gear shoulder with hole in shaft. Drive in new roll pin.
Turn offset drive gear so that index mark on coupling is aligned with tab on mounting flange, as viewed from bottom of distributor. See Fig 1. Turn distributor over and install rotor shaft to the main shaft so that the ignition rotor points to cylinder 1 terminal on distributor cap.

Ensure holes in rotor shaft arms fit over pins in centrifugal advance weights. Install screw with lock washer in top of shaft. Install breaker plate in distributor housing. Install reluctor. Drive roll pin in place with its gap away from distributor shaft.
Check reluctor-to-stator air gap and rotor-to-terminal surfaces. Install diaphragm assembly. Crank engine until No. 1 piston is at TDC. Install new "O" ring housing and insert coupling until it mates with notch in camshaft.
