Shift Lever Position Switch

Remove front console. Check for continuity between ground wire and terminal "A" of shift lever position switch. See Fig 1. There should be continuity when shift lever is in "2", "D" and "D4" positions. There should be no continuity when shift lever is in "N", "R" and "P" positions.
