Input Signals

The ECU monitors several input signals in calculations to determine control of its output devices. Input signals include the following:

• A/C switch signal
• A/T shifter position signal
• Air temperature (TA) sensor
• Battery voltage (ignition fuse No. 1 and direct from battery)
• Clutch switch signal (M/T)
• Ignition coil signal (RPM)
• Oxygen sensor
• Starter signal
• Vacuum switches A, B and C
• Vehicle speed sensor
