Clutch is disc type, using a diaphragm spring to engage pressure plate. Accord, Civic and CRX have a mechanical release system consisting of clutch pedal, cable, release lever and release bearing. Prelude uses a hydraulically controlled clutch system consisting of a master cylinder and slave cylinder controlled by the clutch pedal.
