Ignition Timing Control: Notes

Electronic control unit has complete control of ignition timing. Timing is controlled in response to signals from various sensors. Input signals from the TDC, CRANK, CYL (if equipped), throttle angle, coolant temperature, and MAP sensors are all used by control unit to determine optimum ignition timing needs.
