Check Engine Light

With ignition off, insert jumper wire between terminals of 2-pin service check connector. See Fig 1. Turn ignition on and count flashes on CHECK ENGINE light.

See PRELUDE FUEL INJECTION TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION CHART  and proceed to appropriate code for testing. All voltage tests should be performed with a Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM) with a minimum 10-megohm input impedance, unless specifically stated differently in testing procedures.
