Anti-Lock Brake System: Operation: Accumulator
The accumulator is a pneumatic, nitrogen-gas filled reservoir, which accumulates high-pressure brake fluid. The accumulator feeds high-pressure brake fluid to the modulator valve through inlet side of the solenoid valve. Accumulator charging pressure is 1721 psi (121 kg/cm2 ). Maximum operating pressure is 3271 psi (230 kg/cm2 ).
