Input Tests: Notes
- Remove the dashboard lower cover, then disconnect the 10-P connector from the integrated control unit. See Fig 1 .
- Remove the integrated control unit from the under-dash fuse/relay box. Inspect the connector terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
- If the terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system. If all the terminals are OK, make the following input test at the connector terminals.
- If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system. If all the input tests prove OK, the control unit must be faulty, replace it.
NOTE:
Wires with the same color have been given a number suffix to distinguish them (for example, GRN/RED1
and GRN/RED2
are not the same).
CAUTION:
Do not disconnect any connectors on the under-dash fuse box except the integrated control unit.
