Input Tests: Notes

  1. Remove the dashboard lower cover, then disconnect the 10-P connector from the integrated control unit. See Fig 1 .
  2. Remove the integrated control unit from the under-dash fuse/relay box. Inspect the connector terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
  3. If the terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system. If all the terminals are OK, make the following input test at the connector terminals.
  4. If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system. If all the input tests prove OK, the control unit must be faulty, replace it.
NOTE: Wires with the same color have been given a number suffix to distinguish them (for example, GRN/RED1 and GRN/RED2 are not the same).
CAUTION: Do not disconnect any connectors on the under-dash fuse box except the integrated control unit.
