Active Torque Transfer System (ATTS)

CAUTION: DO NOT  rotate front wheels by hand. If wheels are rotated by anything other than engine, ATTS unit will be damaged.
  1. Raise and support vehicle. Start engine and shift transaxle into Reverse. Accelerate to 6 MPH. Shift transaxle to Neutral and gently decelerate to zero MPH.
  2. Engage parking brake lever within 10 seconds after reaching zero MPH. ATTS indicator light should start flashing. Release parking brake. Shift transaxle in to 1st gear. Gently accelerate to 12 MPH. ATTS should go into test mode. Steering wheel should vibrate 2 times and indicator light should go off.
  3. If ATTS indicator light does not go off, repeat steps 1) and 2). If indicator light still does not go off, check for ATTS DTCs 67, 68, 78 and 79. See ATTS DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTC) .
