Preliminary Checks: Notes

Before trouble shooting by symptom, check underhood fuse No. 15 (80 or 100-amp) and fuse No. 30 (20-amp). Check underdash fuse No. 1 (10-amp) and fuse No. 4 (7.5-amp). Replace fuses as necessary. Ensure horn and tachometer operate properly. Ensure all connections are clean and tight. For circuit identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS.

NOTE: Check possible faults in order listed. Repair or replace components and circuits as necessary.
