Pull-In Test

Using as heavy a wire as possible, connect positive battery terminal to solenoid "S" terminal. Connect negative battery terminal to solenoid "M" terminal. See Figure . Solenoid should actuate and pinion should protrude to drive position. If actuation does not occur, replace starter solenoid.
