Temperature Control Cables

- From inside engine compartment, open clamp securing cable housing at heater valve. Disconnect heater valve cable from heater valve arm. Disconnect air mix control cable housing cable clamp under dash. Disconnect air mix control cable from air mix control arm.
- Set temperature control lever to maximum cool position. Turn control arm as far clockwise as it will go and hold it. Attach air mix control cable to air mix control arm, and snap hook of air mix control cable housing into cable clamp. Turn heater valve arm, under the hood, to fully closed position.
- While holding heater valve arm in position, attach heater valve cable to heater valve arm, and remove any slack from heater valve cable housing. Install cable housing into cable clamp and tighten.
