Symptom Troubleshooting

  1. Troubleshoot the keyless entry/security alarm system by the symptom index.

      NOTE: If the key is in the ignition key switch or the ignition switch is ON (II), the door lock system does not function.

    Door will relock even if the door is opened once after unlocking with remote. Door switch Door switch test
    Door will lock and unlock with the remote even if the ignition switch is ON (II). Steering lock
    • Ignition switch test
      NOTE: If the ignition switch is ON (II), the door lock system does not function.
