Cruise Control Unit Input
Turn ignition off. Disconnect cruise control unit. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Disconnect cruise control unit harness connector. Using a DVOM, perform cruise control unit input tests. See Fig 1 -Fig 3 . If any input test indicates a problem, repair affected circuit as necessary and retest system. See COMPONENT TESTS . If all input test results are okay, check cruise control unit connector for damage and proper connection to cruise control unit. If connector is okay and cruise control is still malfunctioning, replace cruise control unit. See CRUISE CONTROL UNIT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
