  1. Remove left rear interior side trim panel. Disconnect sliding door motor 2-pin harness connector. Using fused jumper wires, connect battery voltage to sliding door motor harness connector terminal No. 1 (Black wire) and ground sliding door motor harness connector terminal No. 2 (Blue wire). See Figure. Sliding door should open. Go to next step.
  2. Using fused jumper wires, connect battery voltage to sliding door motor harness connector terminal No. 2 (Blue wire) and ground sliding door motor harness connector terminal No. 1 (Black wire). Sliding door should close. If sliding door does not operate as specified, replace sliding door motor and retest system. See SLIDING DOOR MOTOR UNIT  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
